Teoxane supports Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque by funding pediatric heart surgeries

Since 2009, Teoxane have been supporting the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association through a sponsorship, eventually financing 44 heart surgeries for children from unprivileged countries. 

Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque enables children with heart defects from underprivileged countries to undergo surgery in France when this is impossible in their own country due to lack of technical or financial resources. Since 2007, Teoxane supports this association by participating in charity events and donating products. 

This collaboration has particularly resulted in Teoxane annual participation in the Great Christmas sale in Paris. Every year, this charity sale offers products provided by the sponsoring brands, raising money for children with heart conditions. On this occasion, Teoxane donates products from its Dermocosmetics range. In 2022, this end-of-year event raised funds to cover operations for 20 young heart patients worldwide. 

In 2021, Teoxane participated in Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque philanthropic challenge which consisted in walking or running a distance of your choice as to raise funds. In total, Teoxane collaborators have covered 41,313 km, raising 120,000 euros for the association. This amount allowed Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque to operate on ten children.

For that matter, on January 24^th, 2023, our founder and CEO Mrs. Taupin has met Seynabou, a little Senegalese girl suffering from Transposition of Great Vessels. She was the tenth child beneficiating from a surgery thanks Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque’s philanthropic challenge. Mrs Taupin also had the opportunity to attend the medical post-operation consultation conducted by Prof. Francine Leca, a world-renowned doctor, pioneer in pediatric heart surgery and founder of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque in 1996.
